Farmers Hurler Named EAC's #1 Starter Saturday, July 1st , 2023 When Andy Vona takes the hill, chances are good for a Fort Wayne victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 3-0 mark and 2.25 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 40 innings, fanned 44 and held others clubs to a .236 average. That's why the Farmers star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Eastern Amateur Circuit. So far this year, Vona has 10 wins and 2 losses and a 2.65 ERA. |
