El Paso Moves on to Cup Qualifier Monday, October 9th , 2023 Fans of the St. Louis Lions groaned when Eric Eriksen stepped up to the plate in the Play-in Series. And for good reason too, as the El Paso Diablos player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-2 series win over the Lions. The series was clinched tonight at Inferno Field, with El Paso coming out on top 9-4 in the deciding game. Eriksen's strong series included a .409 batting average, with a .519 on-base percentage.
