Denver Starting Pitcher September's Top Rookie Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Armando Aguilar is living a dream. Not only did he net the Western Circuit's Rookie of the Month Award today, but the 24-year-old has put together a string of starts that has everybody talking all the league. In the month of September the Denver starter was 4-1 as he put up a 3.86 ERA. He also totaled 37 strikeouts in 37.1 innings, while holding opponents to a .257 average. Pretty good stats for a rookie. For the year, Aguilar has a 7-5 record with a 3.51 ERA in 8 starts. |
