Tampa Bay Out of Playoff Race Thursday, September 28th , 2023 The mood in the Tampa Bay Thunder clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Thunder left fielder Jesse Reynolds. "Nobody to blame but us." This is the club's 11th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2012. In total, the Thunder have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 24-year history. Tampa Bay last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2009. |
