Pilots SS Larson Gets the Cycle Tuesday, July 18th , 2023 It was a special day for Nate Larson at Warriors Park. Not only did Larson's Atlanta Pilots beat the Washington Warriors, 13-2, but the shortstop hit for the cycle along the way. The 27-year-old Larson racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 5 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Warriors manager Angel Sanchez. "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Larson said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Nate Larson struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Josh McQueen in the 8th.
