A 3-RBI performance from Aaron Shelby, who finished 3rd in the EC in RBI with 72 in 2020, helped the El Paso Diablos beat the Las Vegas Aces, 11-9. El Paso leads the Western Circuit by 2 games.

El Paso took the lead, 11-9, on Javier Blanco's 14th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Blanco hit in the bottom of the eighth, made Las Vegas pitcher Alex Deatras wince.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Shelby.
