Sun Sox Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Indianapolis
The Indianapolis Clowns and Miami Sun Sox delighted fans at Sun Sox Stadium.

Behind the hitting of Cahya Mainaky, the Miami Sun Sox defeated the Indianapolis Clowns, 7-3. Mainaky slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Sun Sox. Cesar Mijares earned the win. Josh Moliterno took the loss for Indianapolis.

The Sun Sox got a big at-bat from left fielder Jorge Tapia. For the game, Tapia went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Miami a 2-0 lead.

Said Miami manager Barry Lolicht: "We squared some balls up."

The win cannot erase the fact that Miami still has a disappointing 28-56 record.
