Texans Fall Short, 3-2, at San Diego
|
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the San Diego Roadrunners and Dallas Texans.
Nick Guyton could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Dallas Texans lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the San Diego Roadrunners at Tony Gywnn Park. Jonathan Benders locked down his 10th save.
San Diego went up, 3-2, on Justin Andera's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Andera hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Dallas pitcher Nick Guyton shaking his head.
Andera said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
San Diego bumps their record to 31-53 with the win.
