The Los Angeles Knights defeated the St. Louis Lions by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Jon Piotraschke. Piotraschke went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Knights on the day. Bryce Jacobs earned the save for Los Angeles, his 4th. The triumph puts Los Angeles at 42-41 for the season.

Yaichiro Nagamine had a big 2-run home run for the Knights in the bottom of the first inning. With Los Angeles leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from William Bourdon and swatted a home run to right. It was his 15th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 4-1.
