Riding the 3-hit performance of the five-time All-Star Huibert Zwiers, the Detroit Motors stopped the Boston Shamrocks, 4-1. The winning pitcher was 31-year old left-handed pitcher Alex Perez. He tossed 105 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. Luke Laurent was credited with the save for Detroit, his 5th of the season.
