Soggy conditions did not keep Detroit and Boston from playing their scheduled game.

The Detroit Motors picked up a win at The Motor Yard, defeating the Boston Shamrocks, 2-0. Starting pitcher Roger McCrary was an essential part of his team's success. Jaiden LeFlore was credited with the save, his 6th in 11 tries.

McCrary delivered a quality start for Detroit. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 7.2 innings of work.

"Roger may be green behind the ears," said Motors manager Sean Morgan. "But he's quickly learning how to contribute."

The win gives Detroit a season record of 41-38.
