Shamrocks Pocket 7-2 Win Against Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Clowns and Boston Shamrocks left the fans buzzing.
Boston pitcher Dave Slaughter did his part in helping his team defeat the Indianapolis Clowns, 7-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Boston goes to 35-39, Indianapolis to 34-40.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from center fielder Ruben Silva. For the game, Silva was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Boston a 3-1 lead.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Silva.
