Knights Win, 4-2, Versus Minnesota

Los Angeles pitcher Corey Martin did his part in helping his team beat the Minnesota Loons, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The win went to Bryce Jacobs in relief, making him now 5-0. Joe Webb took the loss for Minnesota. The Knights bumped their record to 37-32 with this latest triumph.
Los Angeles took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Isac Nielsen hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Knights in front, 4-2.
"Corey was aggressive right out of the chute," said Los Angeles manager Steve Finley.
