Camelot was the site of the home opener for the Los Angeles Knights. The contest featured a prime matchup between Danny Brannigan of the visiting San Diego Roadrunners and Corey Martin of the Knights. The final score was 3-1, the Roadrunners getting the win. Corey Martin turned in the best performance. San Diego reliever D.J. Lea got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Corey Martin was tagged with the loss.

San Diego used the hitting of Wilpert Apfel to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Roadrunners on top, 1-0. For the game, Apfel had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
