Aces Drop Mavericks, 5-1
|
Starting pitcher Anthony Anderson had a solid game. He was a big reason the Las Vegas Aces throttled the Houston Mavericks, 5-1. The win elevated the Aces to 35-28.
Las Vegas won the game in part because of Marco Llamas. The shortstop ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Aces ahead, 2-0. For the game, Llamas had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Anderson.
