Roberto Alarcon led the Boston Shamrocks to a nifty 13-5 win over the Atlanta Pilots. The Boston third baseman was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Boston pitcher Paul Reid got the win, upping his record to 2-0. George Valenti got the loss. The 7th-place Shamrocks go to 22-21.

Boston relied on the bat of Andre Williams to get the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 6-3. For the game, Williams had 2 doubles and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.
