Titans Rally to Win

Toronto and Boston duked it out and the Titans came out victorious.
Toronto Titans starter Jaheim Kinney pitched well against the Boston Shamrocks at Boston Commons, leading his team to a win, 5-3. Kinney, now 9-0, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs.
Mike Garcia came through with a big-time hit for Toronto. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Being in first place now is good," said Garcia. "Being in first at the end of the season is better. That's our goal."
The win puts the Titans at 36-18, while the Shamrocks drop to 27-27.
