Led by 23-year-old Alex Flores, the Indianapolis Clowns downed the Tampa Bay Thunder, 6-5. Flores went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Indianapolis. The win went to Armando Aguilar in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Dylan Smith took the loss. The Clowns move to 20-26 with the win, while the Thunder drop to 24-22.

Sam Abel was the walk-off hero for Indianapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Clowns designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place sure got loud," said Matt Mays, the Indianapolis manager.
