The Los Angeles Knights defeated the San Francisco Peanuts by the score of 8-3. Hitomaro Takemura starred for Los Angeles, going 2-for-3 with 2 home runs. Pete Townsend went 7.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. The left-hander struck out 9 and walked 2. With the win, he ups his record to 3-3 this season. At 17-15, the Knights claim 6th place in the Western Circuit.

In the bottom of the second, 25-year old third baseman Jon Piotraschke hit a bases-clearing double. The 3rd double of the season for the Los Angeles second baseman put the Knights on top, 3-0.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Knights," said Piotraschke.
