The Las Vegas Aces picked up a win at Caesers Palace Colosseum, dropping the San Diego Roadrunners, 3-2, in 10 innings. Ron Mackowski, who is a four-time All-Star, was the difference-maker. Las Vegas reliever Justin Goldman got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Jonathan Benders was tagged with the loss. Las Vegas, at 17-13, sits in 5th place in the Western Circuit.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Las Vegas. That's when 25-year old second baseman Kevin Ball hit a solo home run off Jonathan Benders to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"You play a lot of one-run games," said Las Vegas skipper Casey Lyman, "and it seems there's one play somewhere in there that changes the game."
