Dixon Too Much for Mavericks in 5-1 Las Vegas Win
The Houston Mavericks and Las Vegas Aces left the fans buzzing.

Eric Dixon, who is tied for 9th in the WC in complete games with 1, was terrific for the Las Vegas Aces in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Houston Mavericks. His performance earned Dixon rave reviews. The win leaves Las Vegas with a record of 10-7.

The win was credited to Dixon. He raised his season record to 4-0. In 8 innings of work, Dixon gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 9. The Mavericks never could get a clutch hit when they needed it.

"Coming in, from the get-go, I knew my stuff was good," said Dixon.
