Garcia Stars in 5-4 Loss to Philadelphia

Wet weather did not postpone the Philadelphia-Toronto ballgame.
The Philadelphia Keystones weathered an outstanding game by Toronto left fielder Mike Garcia to topple the Titans, 5-4. Garcia slugged 3 home runs. Jon Brandman, who went 7.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 4-0.
Alan Calloway had a big 2-run home run for the Keystones in the bottom of the third inning. With Philadelphia leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Mark Black and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Keystones ahead, 5-2.
In comments to the Philadelphia Gazette, Calloway admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
Early on, the Keystones, at 10-4, have piled up the wins.
