Dunham Helps El Paso Take Cup Qualifier Game 1
The El Paso Diablos started the Cup Qualifier in style, downing the visiting San Francisco Peanuts at Inferno Field by a score of 9-3 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Diablos shortstop Shaun Dunham was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times.

The Diablos picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Dunham said. "We did a good job of that today."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Inferno Field in El Paso.
