Shelby, Diablos Wallop Titans in Game 3 of PCC
He may not do it as often as in his glory days, but Aaron Shelby showed that he can still put on a show.

The 35-year-old El Paso designated hitter blasted the Toronto Titans pitching staff in Game 3 of the Pro Circuit Cup at Titans Fields, helping the Diablos gain some ground in their chase for a title. Shelby was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice as the Diablos secured the 6-2 win. With it, El Paso cut the Titans lead to 1-2 in the best-of-7 series.

Had Shelby not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Shelby hit a 2-run home run. The Diablos took the lead, 4-2, and never looked back.

"I'm really happy I delivered," said Shelby. "The pressure is so high up there, it's indescribable. This is the Pro Circuit Cup."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Titans Fields in Toronto.
