Washington (R) Captures Rookie Complex League South Division Crown Saturday, October 1st , 2022 Let loose, Washington (R) fans, your team has won the Rookie Complex League South Division. The Washington (R) Warriors have officially captured the crown, the 1st in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said second baseman Antonio Castro. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 48-40 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st PBC Rookie Complex League championship.
