The Math Says - Atlanta (R) Out of Playoffs Saturday, October 1st , 2022 While some PBC Rookie Complex League pundits expected the Atlanta (R) Pilots to be in this year's playoffs, that won't be the case. The Pilots have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. "Today was not a fun day," said first baseman Gil Ortega. Atlanta (R) last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 15-year history.
