Detroit (R) Won't Make Playoffs Saturday, October 1st , 2022 When it comes to a late-season playoff disappointment, the old axiom "wait until next year" isn't overly comforting. "We really thought we would get into the playoffs this year," said Detroit (R) Motors starting pitcher Jorge Flores. "It's really disappointing to come up short."
