Warriors Boland No-Hits Union Thursday, September 15th , 2022 Washington (R) Warriors starter Ryan Boland came up big at PBC Rookie Development Complex with an exceptional 1-0 win against the Chicago (R) Union. Not only did he whip them, but Boland held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Boland. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens." In the course of the no-hitter, Boland collected 8 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.
