Detroit (R) Starter Named R's Top Pitcher Thursday, September 1st , 2022 Jorge Flores of the Detroit (R) Motors outdistanced his peers on the mound this month. He fashioned a fine 5-1 won-lost mark and 2.36 ERA in 6 starts to get the PBC Rookie Complex League Pitcher of the Month honors. Flores had a very impressive August, finishing with 49 strikeouts in 42 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .253 average. This season, Flores has a 12-3 record with a 2.21 ERA in 17 starts. |
