Atlanta (R)-Detroit (R) Brawl, Santiago and Ortega Suspended Sunday, August 28th , 2022 Mario Santiago of the Atlanta (R) Pilots and Danny Ortega of the Detroit (R) Motors will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Pilots-Motors game at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Santiago and Ortega will begin serving them soon. Santiago is currently hitting at a .214 pace with 5 home runs and 21 RBIs. Ortega has posted a 1-1 record for the year with a 6.55 ERA. Teams are hitting .326 against him and he has rung up 26 strikeouts in 22 innings. |
