St. Louis (R) Reliever Hurt Tuesday, August 16th , 2022 The season is ending on a bad note for Efrain Colmenero, reliever for the St. Louis (R) Lions. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Colmenero was hurt against the Chicago (R) Union while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn meniscus and will be out for at least 4-5 months. For the season, Colmenero has made 9 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark and a 7.58 ERA. In pitching 19 innings, he has totaled 18 strikeouts and 12 walks. |
