Keystones Vargas to Miss Year Monday, August 8th , 2022 The season is ending on a bad note for Manny Vargas, reliever for the Philadelphia (R) Keystones. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Vargas was hurt against the Detroit (R) Motors while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 7 months. Vargas has taken the mound for 8 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 5.40 ERA. The Philadelphia (R) reliever has limited opposing batters to a .349 batting average. |
