Hit Streak for Watts Reaches 20 Monday, August 8th , 2022 Howard Watts has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Boston (R) second baseman picked up 4 more today against the New York City (R) Blues and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Shamrocks won the game, 7-3. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Howard Watts grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
