Motors Pitching Ravaged by Mendez Tuesday, August 2nd , 2022 Toronto (R) second baseman Carlos Mendez had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Detroit (R) Motors at PBC Rookie Development Complex as the Titans picked up a win, 10-4. "He was patient up there," Toronto (R) skipper Joe Lindquist told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Mendez has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Carlos Mendez doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Rick Calvillo in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Evan Walko in the 9th.
