On a Roll: Purbacaraka Hits for Cycle Friday, July 8th , 2022 In an outing that will go down in the annals of league history, Dallas (R) catcher Susila Purbacaraka hit for the cycle, as the Texans marched to victory over the El Paso (R) Diablos, 10-6. Purbacaraka collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats, including 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 6 RBI and 1 run scored to help Dallas (R) take the PBC Rookie Development Complex contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," Purbacaraka said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway." Susila Purbacaraka hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Juan Rivera in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
