Atlanta (R) catcher Enrique Portillo thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Atlanta (R) to a win, 14-6, over San Francisco (R). "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Portillo said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Portillo was 3-for-6 on the day with 7 RBI. Enrique Portillo hit a solo-shot off Danny Rios in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Edwin Alcoser in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Armando Cadena in the 9th. |
