This Detroit (R) mound star excelled with an impressive 14-3 mark. In 23 starts, Flores tossed 159.1 innings, fashioning an impressive 2.32 ERA. He held opposing hitters to a .246 average, struck out 164 and walked 59. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
