Houston (R) Pilot Smolar Acclaimed R Best Saturday, October 29th , 2022 Tom Smolar, skipper of the Houston (R) Mavericks, was voted 2022 PBC Rookie Complex League Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided Houston (R) to first place in the Rookie Complex League West Division with a 62-26 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference. "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
