2022 WAC Best Player, Albuquerque's Veneziano Tuesday, September 27th , 2022 Adolfo Veneziano took Amateur Baseball Circuit by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22. For his spectacular campaign, the Albuquerque Coyotes star has been named the 2022 Western Amateur Circuit Most Valuable Player Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder. On the season he compiled a .333 batting average to go with a .413 on-base percentage. The native of Pontedera, Italy also added 23 doubles, 4 triples, 23 home runs, 89 RBIs and 82 runs scored. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 20. Eric Andrade of the Houston Apollos finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Angelo Garcia of the Hollywood Stars finished third with 1 first place vote.
