Bennett Picked Best WAC Pitcher Monday, September 26th , 2022 This year, the Western Amateur Circuit spotlight fell on Ryan Bennett of the Yuma Gnomes. What a 2022 season he had! A fine 10-8 won-lost record, 3.13 ERA, 25 starts, 172.1 innings and 160 strikeouts -- a season good enough to earn him the WAC Pitcher of the Year Award. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Dave Kerr of the Dallas Bulls finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Aaron Stick of the New Orleans Buccaneers finished third.
