Earhart Named Top Reliever for EAC Friday, September 23rd , 2022 At the young age of only 26, Ron Earhart has been named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2022. The future appears bright for the Oil City Oilers relief ace, who captured the award with 14 saves in 45 relief appearances, 83 strikeouts in 66.2 innings and a record of 9-1 to go with his 2.29 ERA. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 20. Pete Eaker of the Franklin Knights finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Sadaharu Tamura of the Oil City Oilers finished third with 2 first place votes.
