Oilers Are Champs of Eastern Amateur Circuit Saturday, September 3rd , 2022 The Oil City Oilers are champions of the Eastern Amateur Circuit, but it certainly didn't come easily. "We got pushed right to the brink - we were pressured, but didn't fold," said third baseman Brad Wood. "Over a long season it's crazy to have a division win by a single game, but we're grateful we came out on the good end of it." The team's 88-56 has clinched the division crown, which is the franchise's 1st. The team will now be looking to capture the 1st Amateur Baseball Circuit championship in franchise history. |
