Sheehan Gone for Season in Boston Sunday, August 28th , 2022 The season is finished for Luke Sheehan of the Boston Battalion. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Battalion starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Manchester Monarchs. Team doctors said it would take at least 13 months to heal. In 28 starts this season, Sheehan has gathered 12 wins while suffering 7 losses. He has pitched 182 innings, allowed 186 hits, struck out 171 and has a 4.35 ERA. |
