Twisters LF Davis Jr. Gets the Cycle Saturday, August 27th , 2022 Aidan Davis Jr. punished the San Diego Aztecs, leading the Twisters to a win, 9-6. In doing so, Davis Jr. hit for the cycle, tagging the Aztecs for 4 hits in 4 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Tulsa left fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Davis Jr. also had 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored in the game at Tulsa Park. Aidan Davis Jr. hit a three-run home run off Micah Catone in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.
