WAC Premier Player Picked Monday, August 22nd , 2022 It was a sweet day for Tyler Elwood of the Houston Apollos, who found out he has been named the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week. The Apollos shortstop put up a solid .591 average and contributed no home runs and 5 RBIs to claim the honors. This year, Elwood has hit 3 home runs and posted a .423 batting average. |
