5-for-6 Day for Elwood Friday, August 19th , 2022 Tyler Elwood of the Apollos was unstoppable in his team's 9-7 victory over the Albuquerque Coyotes at Houston Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Houston shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Tyler Elwood singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 9th and struck out in the 10th.
