Abrev Shuts Out Tulsa, 3-0 Saturday, August 6th , 2022 In a seemingly effortless performance, Alex Abrev of the New Orleans Buccaneers shot down the Tulsa Twisters, 3-0, on 3 hits. "Alex was just locating so well and using his pitches," New Orleans manager Aaron Kayser said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Abrev recorded 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Tulsa manager Travis Nichols said in postgame comments to BNN.
