Gone Again! 3 HR for Quiroz Saturday, July 16th , 2022 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of St. Petersburg buzzing, Long Beach Titans catcher Ricky Quiroz blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 12-2, over the St. Petersburg Pelicans. "Everything was clicking," Quiroz told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Quiroz shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Titans manager Keith Owens said. "Ricky played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Ricky Quiroz hit a solo-shot off Josh Perkins in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Josh Perkins in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Raul Hurtado in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This year, Quiroz is hitting .313 with 97 hits, 14 home runs, 45 RBIs and has scored 46 runs. |
