Week's #1 Player Honored by WAC Monday, May 16th , 2022 The Western Amateur Circuit presented its Player of the Week Award to El Paso Mavericks left fielder Bill Higgins. "His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well." Indeed, Higgins has. Last week he went 8 for 19, batted .421 with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. This year, Higgins has hit 12 home runs and posted a .252 batting average. |
