Philadelphia Takes Play-in Series in Deciding Game Friday, October 7th , 2022 The joy and relief on the faces of the Philadelphia Keystones players was obvious as they celebrated their Play-in Series win over the Los Angeles Knights. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Philadelphia center fielder Dean Lumby, shortly after the 9-8 win that clinched the series 3-2. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Cup Qualifier. Lumby won series MVP honors on the strength of his .316 batting average during the series. He also had a .409 on-base percentage and 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Cup Qualifier matchups and schedule will be announced after the Play-in Series finishes.
